Eleven…. in our eyes this number is slightly above perfection, the way every design should be. Evenly balanced and reoccurring in our lives as well as in our work, it has adapted a symbolic ideology for us. If we are to live life above the expected and push beyond our own limitations it would be to exploring forward thinking and exhibiting them to the public. It would be to questioning the social here at Home.
Nelly Bonilla and Oscar Luna are the artistic duo Home Eleven. Integrating aspects of architecture, art, design and film, they create progressive interactive installations dealing with social and environmental issues. They seek to challenge the perception of the common, engage the status quo and evoke dialogue on topics relating to all of us.
Nelly and Oscar are Pratt Institute graduates, Nelly holds a bachelors in Architecture while Oscar received a BFA specializing in Film. They currently reside in Miami, FL and are Artist in Residence at the Deering Estate.
